Celeb cameos we want to see on Sony TV’s CID
There’s a reason Sony TV’s CID is one of the longest running shows on TV. It combines mysteries with one-liners, along with the nostalgia factor. It’s also fun to see so many celebs being part of the series. We drum up a list of five such celeb cameos we want to see on the show…read on:
Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra:
Well, well, we know what you’re thinking. The two have just got married, so why would they come on CID, right? WRONG. Now is the time when their fans want to know everything about them. So, it makes perfect sense to call them on the show, isn’t it? Also, with Bhajji’s knack of reading the batsmen right on the pitch, he can sure catch mysterious killers with his intuition alone, right?
Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone:
Enough has been written about the much-publicised face-off between the two in the upcoming Bajirao Mastani. Even though we have seen them at their buddy best on Koffee with Karan, we want to see them acing it on CID too. Who says ladies can’t kick a mean ass? They sure can. And these two, when brought together, can wreak havoc.
Alia needs to redeem herself, right? She has been targeted for being ‘not smart’ by meme-makers, audiences and even her fans. Well, all that will change when the actress solves mind-numbing puzzles on the show. We can’t wait to see Alia on the show. Can you? What’s more! She can enact a couple of scenes too.
Karan Singh Grover:
The actor is currently riding the ‘sexy time’ wave with his upcoming Hate Story 3, so he can definitely play a lust-filled character on the show, what say? It also helps that he is a damn good artist and already popular on TV. Sigh! We can’t wait to see him back.
Do you guys really need a reason to watch these two together? Yes, didn’t think so. Because they are the most romantic reel pair in history of Bollywood. Also, because their comeback flick Dilwale is just around the corner. Moreover, they can’t act the pants off each other. What more do you need, fellas?
