Tassnim Sheikh Nerurkar aka Rakhi of Anupama tests covid positive

Anupama is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing extremely well and topping the TRP charts every week.

But it seems like a bit of bad luck has struck the sets of Anupama. As we all know, the number of covid cases are rising in our country, and the entertainment business has been badly affected by this.

Many Bollywood and television actors have tested covid positive and have quarantined themselves.

Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Katrina Kaif, Bhumi Padnaekar, and Kartik Aryan from the film industry and Amar Upadhyay, Abrar Qazi, Aditya Narayan, Idian Idol contestant Pawandeep, and Dharmesh from the TV industry are among the many who have contracted covid-19.

A show that has been badly affected is the number one show on television, Anupama.

Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Paras Kalnawat, and Aashish Mehrotra tested covid positive. Paras is absolute fine and is back on the sets, but the others are under quarantine.

Now, Tassnim Sheikh Nerurkar, who essays the role of Rakhi, confirmed today that she had tested positive and has been quarantined.

The actress shared a post and requested everyone who has come in contact with her to either get themselves tested or quarantine for a few days.

Well, it seems to be a difficult time, but as they say, the show must go on. Team Anupama continues to shoot with utmost care and precautions.

The upcoming track was going to focus on Rakhi, but now, the makers need to overcome this challenge and change the track.
