Colors’ Shastri Sisters wraps up shoot

The daily depicting a tale of four sisters, Shastri Sisters (Shakuntalam Telefilms) on Colors, that touched our hearts is all set to bid adieu.

And the cast and crew of the show will wrap up their shoot today (5 August) followed by a farewell party on the set.

As far as the climax of Shastri Sisters is concerned, like every other daily soap, this one will also witness a happy ending with Rajat (Vijayendra Kumeria) and Anushka (Ishita Ganguly) reuniting.

After some high octane action sequence where Rajat will catch and beat his imposter Sameer, the lovey dovey couple will get back together. And those fans who are worried about Devyani’s (Sonal Vengurlekar) spoiled future, they can have a sigh of relief, as Neil will rectify all his past mistakes with Devyani accepting him back in her life.

Speaking about his journey, Vijayendra commented, “I am glad I got an opportunity to do so much as a male lead even in a show based on sisters. We all are sad that the show is going off air and will miss the bonding that we shared. I have learnt a lot in this journey and want to give my last shot with equal dedication that I gave in my first shot”.

While Ishita remained unavailable, commenting about her journey Sonal got emotional and shared few lines with us, “Mila woh pyaar yahaan se…Alag tha Jo sabse…Jab suna, hai alvidaa aaj…Mann bhar chalaa hai tabse…Khile kaii rishtey yahaan se…Bichhadne ka gila hai…Aankhon mein chal rahin hain Yaadon ki film…Yeh ‘The End’ hona zaraa sa khal rahaa hai.”

Shastri Sisters will be replaced by Ishq Ka Rang Safed, starring Mishal Raheja and newbie Eisha Singh from 10 August.
