Bodhi Tree Productions launch Kota Toppers on Bindass

With Bindass coming up with more and more youth based contents, the channel is all geared up to launch another youth series Kota Toppers.

After delivering amazing youth based shows like Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, Twist Wala Love, Bodhi Tree Productions has tied up with Bindass for this new venture. Narrating the story of seven young IIT aspirants, preparing for the engineering examination, Kota Toppers will depict the life of students in a lighter vein.

The ensemble cast will feature newcomers including, Sidharth Dhanda, Jaspreet Kaur, Sukoon Khatri, Aakasrshan Singh, Nikhil Desai, Pooja Nair and Rishabh Chadda in the prime roles of candidates aspiring to make it through IIT JEE. Joining them will be another character Vardhan Sir played by Kaizaad Kotwal, who will be one cool professor.

Speaking about the venture, Vijay Subramaniam, the vice president and head of content and communication, Bindass, said, “After presenting so many shows, we decided to come up with the first ever sitcom in the channel. We are sure the audience will be able to connect with the theme as all of us at certain point of time in our life have passed through this phase”.

On the other hand, Sukesh Motwani, the producer commented, “Everyone has the desire to do well in academics. This show will present the idea of struggle of young students in a light hearted manner. The experience that each youngster faces in this phase of life is kind of crazy which seems very interesting to me”.

The series will breathe its first episode on 20 November.
