I am NOT a professional dancer – Nora Fatehi

Contrary to popular belief, Nora Fatehi says that she is not a trained dancer.

Nora Fatehi created ripples in the industry wit her debut film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans. She also made her mark down south with her item numbers in Temper, Bahubali and Kick 2.
The sexy lass was also a part of Colors’ Bigg Boss Double Trouble and is currently busy with another reality show from the same channel Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa.

Nora was recently in the news for apparently being upset with the makers of the show for roping in Salman Yusuff Khan as a contestant in the on-going season. Salman was associated with Jhalak as a choreographer and had also gone on to win one season of the show with his partner Drashti Dhami.

It can be recalled that Nora had said,”It’s not fair to us that Salman is suddenly a contestant. He is a gazillion of steps ahead of us and understands the game. There have been seasons of Jhalak where trained dancers like Lauren Gottlieb participated, but this is different.”

But many feel that Nora herself is a trained dancer. When we posed this question to her, a frustrated Nora said, “I am just tired of this. Let me tell you’ll, I am not a Professional or trained dancer. I have taught myself dance, I dance with my heart and soul and I love dancing and so I pursue it.”

Nora also went on to say, “This is a very common misconception and that is why there is a lot of pressure on me, especially on this show, because everyone thinks that I am a trained dancer.

There have been times when during the rehearsals when I get stressed and frustrated because I know what people expect and it is very difficult for me.”

Well, Nora, this is the crunch of being a part of Tinsel town. We’re sure that the Moroccan-Canadian beauty will get adjusted to such hectic schedules!
