Janani: Prapti Shukla says, ‘Mouli Ganguly is expressive and so talented that her crying scenes also come out in a perfectly timed fashion’ – EXCLUSIVE

MUMBAI : Prapti Shukla is a talented actress.

She has earlier been a part of Wagle Ki Duniya and some more projects. This is the first time Prapti will be seen in the leading role in Janani and in an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, she shared her experience shooting for the show and the challenges that come with it.

Prapti shared, “This is my first lead role and this time it is all the more challenging as I will be seen in a double role, one where I am human and the other as a robot. Whenever we shoot, we all discuss and ask Mouli mam (Ganguly) how she is so expressive and how her crying scenes come out so perfectly. Her tears come out in a perfectly timed fashion. I would want to learn this from her. She gives a lot of guiding tips.”

When asked if she misses her team of Wagle Ki Duniya, she shared, “I miss the team a lot. I have made some extremely good memories with the team on the set and they often call me too. I am in touch with the team and I remember how I cried my heart out on the last day. My mom was asking me why am I crying so much when it is me who has decided to leave the show but it is those memories I made and attachment on the set from 2 and a half years.”

Talking about the show, Prapti expressed, “I did not know about playing an AI. I was told about it when I came for the mock shoot and I was very nervous how I will be able to pull this off because honestly, I have hardly any interest in gadgets or technology. On the set the entire team helps me and we discuss what all elements we can add to make the character more interesting. I am having a good time.”
