Parshuram: Swarnim Neema says, ‘Show was special because I was chosen to play Lord Ram’ – EXCLUSIVE
MUMBAI: Swarnim Neema is the child star of mythological shows. He has been a part of shows like Parshuram, Maharaja Ranjeet Singh, and Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav. Talking about his stint in Parshuram, he said that it helped him learn so much about life.
“Parashuram is famous for being the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu out of his 24 avatars. He taught me about life. In all his stories, there is a takeaway and something to be learned, like how to protect others, the importance of devotion, and caring for everyone. He is one of the best and biggest warriors,” he said. (Also Read: Football is my passion: Swarnim Neema)
Parshuram is on-air on Star Bharat, and Swarnim revealed that the news of him getting chosen for the role was very overwhelming. “It was my second mythology serial, and it was just amazing, also because my role was in the lead as Ram,” he added.
He also mentioned that the costumes were quite different and made of very authentic fabric. He further said, “The colours and jewellery are all fabulous.”
Though Swarnim revealed that the shoot went very smoothly, filming in the jungle was very exciting for him.
“Parshuram is based on the childhood of Ram, and according to the worldwide puranic katha, Parshuram himself is one of the biggest warriors known for his character. While shooting, there were no tricky things that happened to me. I would like to mention that the shoot for Parshuram mostly took place in open jungle areas. Sometimes I had to shoot in mud, and that was also a lovely experience for me,” he said.
However, recalling a fun scene that he has filmed, he mentioned a sequence from Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav, and said, “My scene was about eating a lot of kheer. Even though the scene was shot perfectly, there was no consent or agreement to stop, so everyone targeted me in a fun way. It was a lot of fun, and everyone from the unit participated. My stomach was full, and I couldn’t take more, but I had to eat it. So it was very funny for me.”
He also mentioned another scene where he was supposed to be very angry and break pitchers, however, he was not aware what was inside it. He added, “It was filled with kheer and suddenly when I picked it up and tried to break it, the kheer fell on my head and everyone started laughing. It was quite funny.”
