Another month, and another glamorous awards show in the bay that we’ve been eagerly waiting for. The recently held Star Parivaar Awards 2017 put us into an intense fashion frenzy as we started feasting our eyes on all the glamour the celebrities had to display.

As all the whose who’s of the television world shared the pictures of their outfits on their social media handles, it soon became clear that the event is going to be far from boring and there will certainly be some classic trends to watch out for.

Here are the trends that dominated the SPA 2017 event.:

The Shoulder Baring Trend

If you got it then you got to flaunt it was Drashti Dhami’s thought, as she did complete justice to the shoulder baring trend with her shaped shoulders and slender arms.

A pair of diamond studded long earrings from My Velvet Case perfectly complimented her bare shoulders while dark smokey eyes and oodles of highlighter on the cheek bones rounded-off her look.

Shrenu Parikh took a classy route with the shoulder baring trend wearing a Namrata Patel designed gown. Like a chic fashionista, Shrenu highlighted the sultry silhouette with fringed earrings and a messy hair-do. Intense smokey eyes and nude lips completed her look.

In a red tube bodice tea-dress, the young starlet of television world, Aditi Bhatia stayed true to her age while looking ravishing in red. Like the Rapunzel that she is, Aditi kept her hair open and mouth enhanced with a red pout.

The Cool Cape Trend

Sanjeeda Shaikh ditched the dupatta and grabbed this season’s favorite trend of cape on lehenga. Thanks to the style, Sanjeeda could flaunt her midriff without any hesitation. She kept her look elegant with a fishtail braid pulled on one side.

Kanchi Singh too incorporated the cape trend but in her sleeves. She wore a gorgeous golden ensemble with flared sleeves from Kalki. Kanchi kept her look interesting with pulled back hair puff and wine colored pout.

Season’s Favorite Midnight Blue Color

As spotted on our favorite television divas, this season’s most cherished color ‘midnight blue’ was romanticized with metallic silver accents.

Shivani Surve slayed the charming color in the form of a lehenga ensemble

While Sanaya Irani went the western way and rocked a top and an asymmetrical skirt combo.
