Any independent woman will enjoy Bhaage Re Mann: Karuna Pandey

Karuna Pandey, the talented, dignified face of the small screen is mostly remembered for doing shows likeWoh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Mere Rang Mein Rangnewali, Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli and many more. Mostly known for essaying negative roles, the lady will now be seen in a positive avatar of Padmini in Zindagi’s latest offering Bhaage Re Mann (Positive Thinkers).

Happy to portray a different role, the lady spoke about the new venture. “Padmini is a lively, outgoing character, who believes in the mantra of being happy and spread happiness to others. The concept of a free spirited lady, who is not tied down with societal norms, developed my interest in the project. And I believe that any independent, modern woman will love to watch the series and be able to relate with the theme.”

So what makes Karuna happiest? “My pets Romeo, Babie, Maw brighten my mood at any given time. I am in general an animal lover, so I try to take care of stray dogs as well. Hence, the mere presence of them around me makes me happy.”

So, after doing both positive and negative shades, what kind of roles are you eyeing at? “Well, there can be so many shades of one character. Even white characters can have many shades; I would love to explore such kind of roles. And being a dancer I aim to do something related to that field in future.”

Looking forward to the show, Karuna also expects that she will be able to achieve a special place in audiences’ heart post playing this mature role.
